Your ranking position
The initial ranking is based on the rating, with the highest rated players ranked first.
At the end of each round, you switch positions if you win against a higher-ranked player.
How are matches setup?
You play three rounds of matches. To determine your next opponent, we use the following guidelines:
- You do not play the same opponent twice.
- We save the final number 1 against number 2 for the last round.
- Every player has a chance to become number 1.
- We create the most balanced matches based on rating.
This results in the following match scheme:
Round 1
1-3, 2-4, 5-6, 7-8, etc
Round 2
The (new) number 1 and 2 will play the other 2 winners with the highest ratings.
Round 3
The final is played between 1 and 2. The remaining matches are based on rating.
